In March of 2025, I was given the opportunity by the Indiana University Indianapolis Herron School for Arts to join the “Exploring Paris” study abroad trip.
This is a photo of me outside of the Louvre Museum. As a life-long lover of museums, I felt that this space had a mystical atmosphere. I felt affirmed in choosing cultural institutions as my professional field, and was inspired to take note of all the details around me.

I used this inspiration to create a project titled “An Architectural Comparison of the Louvre & the Centre Pompidou”. This research focused on the key architectural differences between the two prominent French museums and the history that influenced it. It also highlighted how this influences museum guests experiences.

As I move forward throughout my career, I will take the attention to detail and ability to contextualize what I am seeing with me. This can be applied in many professional settings, but is especially good with object identification and research.
